GREYHAVEN COUNTY CORONER REPORT OF EXAMINATION — SUMMARY SHERIFF'S CASE NO.: 76-027 DECEDENT: HALLOW, JACOB DATE OF EXAMINATION: 24 OCT 1976 CIRCUMSTANCES The body was reportedly recovered from the river near the old mill weir, Greyhaven County. Circumstances of recovery supplied by the Sheriff's Office. EXTERNAL EXAMINATION Superficial abrasions are present on both forearms and portions of the torso, with an approximately symmetrical distribution. The cause of these abrasions cannot be determined from their appearance alone. INTERNAL EXAMINATION Lungs moderately heavy and congested. Watery fluid within larger airways scant. Persistent fine froth not demonstrated. OPINION The findings are considered together with the reported circumstances of recovery. No single anatomical finding is regarded as conclusive evidence of drowning. On the information presently available, death is attributed to drowning and classified as accidental. These conclusions are provisional and subject to review upon receipt of additional findings or investigative information.
